Your data may be shared with trusted third-party service providers (such as website hosting, analytics, email services, or IT support) under strict confidentiality agreements.
Personal data may also be disclosed if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
7. Cookies and Analytics
Without your permission we only use the cookies and browser storage the website needs to work: your cart and comparison list are kept in your own browser, and staff who sign in to our admin area get a sign-in cookie. We don't use advertising cookies, and analytics cookies only if you accept them (see below).
To understand how the website is used, we keep our own anonymous statistics, without cookies: which pages are visited, which models, colours and add-ons are chosen in the configurator, whether an enquiry or order is sent, the type of device, the country and the website a visitor came from. We never store your IP address or anything that identifies you; each visit is counted with a code that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you.
Only if you choose "Accept analytics" in our cookie notice, we also use Google Analytics (provided by Google), which sets cookies to measure visits, pages viewed and how you arrived at the site. Google may process this information outside South Africa. Advertising features and Google signals are switched off. If you choose "Only necessary", Google Analytics is never loaded. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, we don't record these statistics or load Google Analytics for you at all.
8. Data Retention
Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law.
9. External Links
Our website may include links to third-party websites. GR8-EV is not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites, and we recommend reviewing their privacy policies separately.
